Modulators - I Modulate (1982)
The Modulators were considered a mod band from Ohio and this is the first of two albums. To be honest I don't see how they were considered a mod band. Their music is straight-forward rock n' roll music with a very slight new wave influence. Contains cover of A Message To You Rudy, Ray Charles classic Unchain My Heart and David Bowie's Heroes.

N-E-1 - So We Go (1984)
N - E - 1 was a well known ska band from the San Diego area even though they weren't really a ska band. The were more mod/rock-n-roll but they did incorporate the ska sound on occasion.
This album does have some high points but I never felt a need to post it previously until it was requested. Extremely rare as it is...

N.W.O.B.H.M. band in fact souds like greatest proto-punk band ever!
Pretty obscure hard rock with prog rock, boogie, punk, power pop, blues rock and glam rock influences! Awesome!
All songs recorded in 1977. Released for the first time on CD in 2003, and the first LP version came in 2014. Three of the songs had previously been featured on their 7'' single "House On Chester Road", which was released in the summer of 1978.

The Monochrome Set - Love Zombies [1980]
Love Zombies is the second studio album by English post-punk/new wave band The Monochrome Set. Trouser Press described the album as possessing "a smoother and more accessible sound" than the band's debut, "Strange Boutique", praising its melodies, as well as "lyrics that take sharp, light jabs at emotional traps and social mores." AllMusic praised the album, writing that it "features more accomplished songwriting" than the group's previous work.
